Clean Web Site Design

Woodpecker engaged BDigital with a brief to create a fresh new web design that was clean, consistent with their brand, and acted as a call to action to download the Woodpecker iOS and Android app. The design had to be able to work nicely in several languages and character sets.

We started with a clean and minimal design that utilized the original Woodpecker branding colors as a primary accent. This combined with a balance of white space delivers a professional look that invites the user to engage with the content.

In order to better present the different languages and character sets - which sometimes created shorter or longer text elements - we used CSS classes to adjust font size, positioning and alignment where necessary.

Finally we implemented proper semantics for headings and language tags for search engine optimization. The result is a web site design that looks good in several languages.
