"A Passion for Sound" is Edifiers global tag line. When approached to develop a social media campaign for Edifier Taiwan, we knew that relevant content for a local audience was the key


The brief was to create a social media campaign that helped connect and grow the Taiwanese audience for one of Asias largest mid to high end speaker manufacturers. Edifier Taiwan wanted to increase brand awareness, and generate a larger audience for their online store and retail presence.

Bdigital ran Edifiers social media campaign for a period of three months in 2019 as well as assisting with strategy for online-offline events. During this time we managed to increase the audience size by 101% and increase engagement by 89% on Facebook. Engagement on Instagram was up by 75%.

Our social media campaign for Edifier used existing channels like Facebook while debuting Edifier Taiwan on Instagram, IGTV and YouTube with a mix of original content and localized assets from Edifier global team.

In order to be relateable with the existing Taiwanese followers as well as growing the fan base we had to create a significant amount of original content tailored for a local audience. This included photos and videos featuring the products being used in familiar locations and situations around Taipei, and utilizing language more relevant to a local audience. We took Edifiers MP202 Duo portable speaker to Ximending, a popular shopping and culture district in the heart of Taipei City, to showcase it's portability and style.

To showcase the details of products for audiophiles, we launched an unboxing series for the Edifier Taiwan YouTube. The series also introduced a giveaway promotion to increase engagement and social sharing.

Content from Edifier Global was localized with subtitles and re-cut to be more suitable for the different social networks. We created a social calendar so there was fresh content going out daily. These were effective at telling the brand story featuring hip dancers, Japanese DJ and a sporting personalities.
